A little about me...

Chesapeake Ribbons is a home-based craft company in Exton, PA. As a first-time, stay-at-home mom, I have been involved in various social networking groups including library groups, music groups, gym groups and playgroups. When attending events for these groups, I often heard other mothers discuss their need for practical, yet stylish hair accessories. With a young son, I hadn’t realized how difficult it was to find trendy hair accessories that were affordable and did not slip out of baby-fine hair. I decided to utilize my creativity and sense of style to design hair and other accessories that are practical and stylish, but won’t break the bank. And that’s how Chesapeake Ribbons was born.

Why the name Chesapeake Ribbons? As a native Baltimorian, I couldn’t think of a better name for my company…best hard shell crabs ever!
